    Welcome to the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) E-Platform, a comprehensive resource designed to support higher education institutions (HEIs) in enhancing their quality assurance processes. This open-access platform serves as a central hub for all stakeholders involved in the pursuit of educational excellence. Whether you are a quality assurance professional, academic leader, or faculty member, our platform offers the tools and resources necessary to strengthen internal quality assurance practices.

    The IQA E-Platform provides a wealth of resources, including:

    • Documents and Guidelines: Access essential documents and guidelines on best practices in quality assurance, tailored to the higher education sector.
    • Online Training Programmes: Participate in interactive training sessions covering various aspects of internal quality assurance, designed to build capacity and expertise within your institution.
    • Internal Quality Assurance Specialist Certificate (IQA.Cert) Programme: Enroll in the IQA.Cert Programme to earn a recognized certification that equips participants with the skills and knowledge to lead QA initiatives in HEIs.
    • Internal Quality Assurance Indicators for HE: Gain insights into key performance indicators that can help monitor and evaluate the quality of educational offerings.
    • Multimedia Resources: Explore a rich collection of videos, case studies, and interviews with QA experts and practitioners, sharing insights on practical applications of QA strategies.
    • QA Tools: Utilize a range of quality assurance tools, including templates and checklists, to streamline the development, implementation, and monitoring of QA systems in your institution.

    The IQA E-Platform is designed to promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing among HEIs globally, ensuring that quality assurance practices evolve in line with international standards and institutional needs. By providing easy access to these resources, we aim to empower institutions to build robust QA systems that foster continuous improvement and enhance the educational experiences of students.

    • Piloting of the Online Training Courses

      These instructions are for the AZ representative:

      • Refer to the section on 'Online Training Courses for QA Officers & Teachers' below. There are three courses. Choose one course for your piloting.
      • Assign one trainer for the chosen course.
      • Enrol 1-2 participants per institution to participate in the training. The participants can be from the faculty, administrative staff or quality assurance team.
      • The trainer is to conduct the course with the participant(s). Each course should take about 1-3 hours to conduct. The course is also self-paced, so participants can study at their own pace/time and the trainer monitors their progress via assignments and feedback.
      • At the end of the course, gather feedback from the participant(s) and the trainer and write a report.
      • Deadline to conduct the course: 7th October 2024
      • Deadline to submit the report to Wittenborg: 14th October 2024

      Mini Report Instructions:

      • Introduction: Briefly describe the course, its objectives, and the institution's context.
      • Execution: Detail how the course was delivered, including any deviations from the plan.
      • Participant's Feedback: Summarise feedback on the content, delivery, and overall experience.
      • Challenges and Solutions: Highlight any issues faced during the pilot and how they were addressed.
      • Recommendations: Provide suggestions for improving the course based on the pilot experience.
